Well we had an amazing weekend at Rudgwick Steam Show, a great atmosphere, great weather and a top class Pit Masters competition. The competitors all did fantastically, the food was incredible. Head judge Jackie Weight noted that judging is becoming really difficult now because so many teams are turning in such great food, it’s all about fine margins now with so many teams doing so well. This is great news for next season with all the teams looking forward to competing for the Pit Masters crown.
We’d like to congratulate all competitors on making this such a great weekend. In particular though our deepest congratulations go to our National Champion and winner of the Pit Masters series, BBQ Shack. Miss Piggy’s BBQ from Leicester took the Reserve Grand Champion title.
